Western Digital

Western Digital is the world's largest hard drive maker now.

There are now only three major manufacturers of traditional PC hard drives in the world:

  • Western Digital (acquired Hitachi Global Storage)
  • Seagate (acquired Samsung's hard drive division) and
  • Toshiba
